Online since 13-03-2025
CLIMMAR, the European network of agricultural machinery and equipment dealers, expressed its sincere gratitude to its outgoing board members for their years of dedicated service and invaluable contributions to the organisation during its Annual General Assembly in Brussels on the 13 March.
Reflecting on his departure, CLIMMAR President Rinaldin' expressed appreciation for the contributions of his colleagues from the Board : "The agricultural machinery sector is undergoing profound changes, and the expertise of my colleagues has helped guide CLIMMAR's strategic direction, ensuring we remain a strong advocate for dealers across Europe."
Vice President Stefan Sprock echoed these sentiments, emphasising the importance of continuity and knowledge sharing: "Looking back over the last three years, European machinery dealers have been under immense pressure. Our sector is evolving rapidly, from digitalisation to the consolidation of dealer networks by manufacturers. In these times, it is important to share and discuss common problems and solutions. Therefore, it is essential to reinforce CLIMMAR's role as an advocate for European machinery dealers."
Vice President, Stéphane Leblond, looks to the future with regard to the current transformation of agriculture: "Technological change and increased geopolitical instability will be major challenges in the coming years. However, I am confident that our successors will be able to steer CLIMMAR into the future".
Treasurer Howard Pullen highlighted the association's ongoing initiatives: "Through CLIMMAR's working groups and collaborative efforts, we at CLIMMAR will continue to address key challenges to ensure that dealers across Europe are equipped with the knowledge and support they need, and that CLIMMAR continues to move forward on a sound financial footing."
Looking ahead, CLIMMAR remains committed to fostering strong partnerships and advocating the political and economic interests of agricultural machinery dealers across Europe. The new Board will continue the work of its predecessors. Isabella Fontana, Tomáš Kvapil, Romain Meunier and Jan Henrik Holk will take over the leadership of CLIMMAR, building on the foundation laid by their predecessors.
